As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

ON A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL…

Education & Experience

My education consists of a degree in Education from Oregon State University, graduate work, Rockwell Real Estate training, John L. Scott broker training, and on-going education in all facets of Real Estate. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of my life, 32 years in Washington State and the remainder in Oregon.  The Eastside has been home to my family for over 20 years.

I have always had a passion for real estate, education, research, and working with people.  This passion has taken me from a career in education as an elementary and middle school teacher to a private business owner, an advocate for brain cancer patients and their families, and a career in Marketing for BrainCancer.org, Swedish Neuroscience Institute/The Ben and Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment in Seattle…and now a career in real estate.

What I Will Do For You

Buying and selling a home can be one of the largest and most important investments you make. I will use my strengths in marketing and negotiating to get the best price for your home. I take pride in offering high-caliber full-service residential real estate expertise. My clients are my top priority, and I focus on delivering the best possible results for them. My extensive knowledge of the Eastside and surrounding communities as a longtime resident of the area will serve you well in the buying and selling process. My real estate experience in the local market will be your advantage. Whatever your real estate goals might be, I will represent your best interest from start to finish and will do so with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

The real estate market is hyperlocal, seasonal and temperamental—in other words, it can change on a dime. Technology has made information more accessible to everyone, but it can be difficult to keep up with recent events that affect home values. The benefits of working with a licensed real estate professional go far beyond what a mobile app, online video, or website can do.

I provide my clients with information on market seasonality and information relevant to what is happening in their specific neighborhood. This customized analysis includes recent comparable sales that factor into an offer and acceptance strategy.

Successful negotiations help move a conversation forward and transform the process into an agreement that’s a win for all parties. Negotiation is not only a skill, but a mindset. I keep my clients’ best interests top of mind as I negotiate on their behalf.

I am dedicated to transactional excellence for every listing and sale. What this means for you is that I oversee every detail of the real estate transaction. The transaction is far from over once an offer has been accepted. I monitor inspections, appraisals, title, escrow and loan processes. Communication and collaboration with all the partners and parties involved with the transaction ensures a smooth and timely closing. I am committed to my clients before, during and after a sale.

Giving Back to The Community

A portion of my commission in every transaction supports the John L. Scott Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 1997 whose mission is dedicated to ensuring that children have access to the medical care they need regardless of their family’s ability to pay.  I have also been involved in in my local community in the Young Life organization and volunteering with my family at HopeLink and the Seattle Brain Cancer Walk. Additionally, I have volunteered for nearly 20 years in the support of Habitat for Humanity, which ”brings people together to build homes, communities and hope” through a yearly fundraising event on the Sammamish/Issaquah Plateau.

ON A MORE PERSONAL LEVEL...

Real Estate is more than a career to me. I have always enjoyed working with others, facing challenges together and making a difference in their lives. Working with children in education as well as cancer patients and their families has been an invaluable and rewarding experience that has driven me to always look for answers and pursue those answers through research and education. I have gained a unique perspective and experience with my work and have also met incredible families and patients along the way.  My own father was one of those patients which is where my work in the brain cancer community began.

My husband Mike, our sons Brad & Blake, and our daughter Megan give me the greatest joy in my life.  Most of my extra time revolves around my family and travel. Helping my son and daughter in law find their first home was a highlight this past year!  As a Construction Engineering Project Manager my husband lends valuable insights and advice on home systems, land developing and remodeling/construction.

In my free time, I enjoy gardening, camping, travel, visits to Cannon Beach/The Oregon Coast, Maui, and researching our family genealogy/producing videos of our history, and spending time at our family ranch in The Dalles, Oregon.
